A splendid pair of ladder back chairs from the eighteenth century. The chairs have retained their original patina. They were crafted in Arles, which can be deduced by the paddle shape on the front of the frame. The cushions are covered with red Toile de beautiran.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
